SUMMARY

Peeko is a babycare fast commerce startup. Peeko has been able to raise more than $7 million (approximately ₹67.4 crore) through its Series A investment round. Chiratae Ventures led this investment round. The round saw participation from Stellaris Venture Partners and various angel investors.

Last year in August, Peeko had raised $3.2 million in an investment round. It was led by Stellaris Venture Partners. The round saw participation from angel investors like Maninder Gulati and Arjun Vaidya, among others, back in August last year.

Funding and service portfolio

The fresh investment, according to the company’s press release, will be directed towards technology to develop a larger parenting partner offering on top of its existing commerce core business. This strategic step will further expand its footprint in the vertical quick commerce ecosystem and improve its value proposition.

Peeko is an ed-tech startup based in Bengaluru, founded last year by Chetan Sharma, Abhijit Gairola and Vivek Khetan. The platform is a vertical quick commerce service that is dedicated to baby and kids-care essentials.

Service Offerings on Peeko include clothes, diapers, toys, baby foods, and more. As an effort to provide flexibility to its customers, the platform has also made available a try & buy facility along with immediate returns on products purchased by its shoppers.

Operations and competition

According to Peeko, the company has been growing at a rate of almost double every quarter in the last 6 months. More than 1 lakh parents have already made their purchases on this platform since its launch.

The startup currently has 3 dark stores in Bengaluru that occupy approximately 55% of the city. Peeko will be moving to 6 stores in 2026 as part of its future roadmap. After this milestone, the company expects to launch in 2 additional cities next year.

The company’s product lines have also grown considerably. Since its launch, Peeko has had approximately 6,000 SKUs, which grew to 27,000 to 30,000 SKUs in categories such as apparel and accessories, toys and learning, baby equipment, and consumables. At present, its average order value is close to ₹1,000. A substantial amount of its total operations comes from apparel, toys, and baby equipment.

Within the baby and kids-care industry, you can find vertical quick commerce platforms popping up everywhere. They are dedicated startups that offer custom product offerings and quicker delivery to meet the unique needs of parents.

Another active player in this segment is Qzi, which stocks over 15,000 kids’ products. In its seed round, Qzi raised $3.3 million, and then followed the Series A round led by RTP Global that raised an additional $6.2 million.

Conclusion

The fresh capital injection of over $7 million is led by Chiratae Ventures. It highlights the growing traction for Peeko in the vertical quick commerce sector. Beyond investments and uplifts in technology, Peeko is expanding its product lineup and implementing a dark store network in 2 additional cities soon, continuing to strengthen its positioning in the quick commerce babycare market.
