WeAce SPARK 2026 Business Leaders Discuss AI-Powered Learning

SUMMARY

The professional world of today is undergoing a paradigm shift in the way professionals turn to sources for advice, training, and career direction. From the medical profession to agriculture, AI is increasingly helping employees to complete their work and to help them grow in their careers. One of the main focus areas during the annual leadership gathering known as WeAce‘s invite-only event SPARK 2026 was the ongoing transformation.

Over 150 C-suite executives and senior corporate leaders from leading organizations like Airtel, GMR, NABFID, HSBC, Marriott, SDA Bocconi, and TransUnion descended in the region to discuss the future of workplace learning and leadership in an AI-powered ecosystem.

Primary focus and work culture

LIFE – Living Intentionally, Fully, Every Day is the guiding theme of the SPARK 2026 conference, where industry experts had an opportunity to deliberate on how developments in technology, generation gaps, and the changing notion of success impact the way people work, learn, and evolve.

One of the key areas of discussion was the potential of AI-enabled coaches and mentors. The group explored the potential of AI tools to offer guidance to employees during game-changing moments in their processes, as a dynamic complement to the established Ecosystem of corporate development programs and direct human interactions.

Balancing technological capabilities and high AI adoption rates

Data from Deloitte’s 2026 Gen Z and Millennial Survey (India Profile) reinforced the trend of a workforce that is increasingly using AI, with figures indicating near-universal access to AI adoption. The survey data presented at the event revealed that 93% of Gen Z workers and 95% of Indian millennials use AI in their daily work activities.

Over 90% of respondents in each demographic category say AI is improving their personal and professional lives. This use of technology for professional development is especially strong in career planning and acquiring skills.

According to the survey, 86% of Gen Z workers and 88% of Millennials use AI for finding new learning opportunities. 92% of career professionals and 93% of millennials use AI tools to seek career advice, which represents a dramatic transformation in tech-assisted career self-management.

While many other organizations have adopted automated tools, leadership talks at SPARK 2026 showed that technology can’t entirely take the place of human mentorship and structural organizational supports.

Deloitte survey says 50% of millennial employees in India view insufficient backing from leaders as a leading cause of work-related stress. This shows the importance of retaining a human touch, empathy on the part of managers, mentorship programs, and strong leadership pathways amid technological advances.

As per the opinions expressed by the participants at the event, even though Artificial Intelligence is scalable and ensures immediate availability of information, human leadership plays an important role in creating psychological safety and culture and providing context-based guidance. The conclusion reached by the executive members present at the conference is that an ideal model for developing talent should include Artificial Intelligence learning solutions combined with human empathy.

Conclusion

In the current corporate environment, WeAce’s SPARK 2026 underscored the growing importance of human leadership amid the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence. 91 % of Indian Gen Z and millennial workers are already using AI tools for tasks, skills discovery, and career advising, and organizations are expected to build AI-driven coaching into their overall L&D strategies.

This is especially true when thinking about how technology should be delivered alongside exciting leadership pathways and environments where leadership is celebrated, supported, and practiced through highly active leaders working alongside their students. The journey of developing the work will require making sure to prioritize human connection as a cornerstone for talent development alongside the ability to scale and use AI precisely.
