Hindustan Unilever

Founded by Shri Narandas Desai, the company’s roots trace back to a tea estate in South Africa in  1892. Following a move back to India, the business was re-established in Ahmedabad in 1919, with  the official “Wagh Bakri” brand launched in 1934. It processes and distributes over 50 million  kilograms of tea every year. It is best known for Wagh Bakri premium leaf tea, Wagh Bakri Royale, and Wagh Bakri premium masala chai. Goodricke group

Founded in 1977, Goodricke Group, unlike many other brands that buy leaves from middlemen,  owns 18 massive estates spanning over 10,000 hectares.
