According to him, the data  showed 109% growth in API attacks, which he believes can be solved after the acquisition of Noname  Security, as the startup will have the breadth of integrations and deployment choices needed to deliver  API protection for customers globally.  

According to a statement, Akamai is planning to use the API security of startups for its clients to  discover better APIs and detect vulnerabilities and cyber attacks. After the deal is finished, the startup  will join Akamai’s services for its customers. This should happen around the middle of 2024.
