TVS Motor Company is a well-known global automobile manufacturing company of two- and three-wheelers. TVS Motor Company has formally appointed Peyman Kargar as its new director and CEO. This strategic appointment will be effective from January 27, 2027. K N Radhakrishnan will continue in his present position till January 2027 to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.

After his successful transition, K N Radhakrishnan will become a non-executive director till the day of the next annual general meeting, which will be held in July 2027. K N Radhakrishnan has been acknowledged as an excellent leader who made significant contributions to the development of TVS Motor Company. Peyman Kargar will be operating from Bangalore in January.

Peyman Kargar currently works as the president of international business at TVS Motor Company. Kargar has more than 30 years of experience in leadership in the global automobile industry in various international markets, such as Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

In his long career journey, Peyman Kargar has worked in senior executive leadership roles in some of the most reputed global brands in the automobile industry. His extensive knowledge covers all areas of the value chain in the automobile industry, which includes product development, R&D, manufacturing, quality, sales, and marketing.

Due to his leadership, the international business division has become a major factor in the expansion of TVS Motor Company at the global level. The international business accounts for 29% of the company’s total sales volume. The growth rate is 33%. 

Peyman Kargar has also worked as the global chairman and president of INFINITI. It is the luxury brand of Nissan. He was responsible for product planning, R&D, manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, and finance. He repositioned the brand, which achieved 20% growth in its volume and led to making a profit of $1 billion.

He has also served as chairman and senior vice president of the Africa Middle East India Region, as well as the CEO of the DATSUN brand at the Nissan Group with responsibilities covering more than 80 countries. 

From 2014 to 2017, he worked as vice president of sales and marketing for Renault Group in 50 countries spanning Africa, the Middle East, Iran and India, with a turnover of €4 billion and 400,000 sold units per year. 

Before this, he was the country manager in Iran and managing director in Renault Middle East for all functional areas such as R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and aftersales.
