SUMMARY

Arrcus, the software developer of hyperscale networking and a pioneer of open and disaggregated network infrastructure, has announced a significant expansion of its operations in India. This strategic action will play a major role in speeding up the innovation in three vital technology ecosystems of AI, datacenter, and mobile networks. Arrcus considers India not only as a significant customer of AI technology but also as a worldwide force in the AI revolution and a key hub of innovation.

Strategic expansion and strengthening local leadership

In the centre of this approach is the proprietary Arrcus Connected Edge-AI (ACE-AI) Networking Fabric of the company. This fabric is specially designed to bind together GPUs, DPUs, and CPUs with demanding AI workloads in various settings, such as datacenters, cloud, and mobile networks. This architecture is essential to the fast-growing digital Indian economy, as it allows organizations to scale AI training and inferencing efficiently and reduce key aspects of latency, cost, and power consumption. Growth of the company in India is placed as a strong alternative to the established and traditional networking providers, namely, Cisco, Arista, and HPE- Juniper.

Arrcus has strengthened its local leadership team in India to achieve its accelerated growth and technological strategy. Vikram Anand is the Managing Director in charge of India Sales and Business Development. Anand has extensive experience in working with other companies that are leaders in their industry, like Dell, VMware, and Persistent Systems. His responsibility will be leading all go-to-market efforts in India, and keen interest in customer interaction and the development of the ecosystem.

Ashutosh Sharma, who has more than 25 years of experience working in the networking division of leading companies such as Cisco, Citrix, and Motorola, is the head of the engineering department of the company in India. Anand and Sharma are assigned to speed up the mission of Arrcus to create AI-ready disaggregated network infrastructure based in India. This emphasis on local leadership underscores the role of the India center in global innovation at the company.

The CEO of Arrcus, Shekar Ayyar, said, “India is a driving force in the global AI revolution, both as an innovation hub and as a major consumer of AI. Our growing local leadership and partnerships position Arrcus as a strong alternative to traditional networking providers such as Cisco, Arista, and HPE-Juniper. We are excited to showcase our technology at GFF and IMC in India this week.”
