STCH has raised $7 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The venture capital firm Omnivore spearheaded this large capital infusion and was joined by Kae Capital and WVC. With this funding, STCH will be able to speed up the implementation of the technology-driven solutions in the fabric industry, giving it more attention towards sustainability and high-performance material development. 

Sustainability standards and strategic growth

The company functions with a complex contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) model, and this enables it to become the critical point of interactions within the global textile supply chain. In contrast to other traditional manufacturers, STCH uses its proprietary AI-driven platform to coordinate the lifecycle of fabric development, starting with initial research and ending with end-developed production. 

The platform aims specifically to support global fashion brands in creating and delivering not only trend-aligned fabrics, but also those that satisfy high-performance and sustainability standards. The startup is a major enabling factor to brands since it streamlines the complicated task of scaling production of high-quality fabric in an environmentally responsible manner.

Narahari Payala and Aseem Chitkara established STCH in 2025. STCH is favored by its founders, who have substantial experience in the industry, both having worked in the manufacturing unicorn, Zetwerk.
