Partnership marks the next phase in BGMS’ broadcast evolution as India’s flagship BGMI esports tournament expands its digital-first viewing experience

New Delhi, 07 August, 2026: NODWIN Gaming, a global leader in youth entertainment, today announced that KICK, the world’s fastest-growing livestreaming platform, has secured the exclusive digital streaming rights for BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 5, becoming the tournament’s official Digital Streaming Partner.

The partnership marks an important milestone in the evolution of BGMS as the tournament continues to expand its reach through platforms built for gaming communities. Every match of BGMS Season 5 will stream exclusively on KICK, bringing fans closer to the action through a digital-first viewing experience.

Since its debut, BGMS has grown into one of India’s most recognised esports properties. During its formative years, the tournament adopted a television-first strategy that helped introduce competitive gaming to mainstream audiences and expand awareness of esports across the country.

As BGMS enters its fifth season, the tournament is entering a new phase of growth. With an established fan base and a thriving competitive ecosystem, NODWIN Gaming is broadening the tournament’s distribution strategy to unlock new audience experiences and long-term commercial opportunities. The partnership with KICK reflects this evolution, creating new opportunities for fan engagement while supporting the continued growth of the BGMS ecosystem.

Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director, NODWIN Gaming, said: “When BGMS began, our objective was to bring esports into the mainstream and create a stage that would help the ecosystem grow. Television played an important role in that journey and helped us introduce competitive gaming to audiences across the country.

Today, BGMS stands as one of India’s leading esports properties with a passionate digital-first community. As the tournament continues to grow, we’re also exploring new ways to distribute, commercialise and build the IP for the long term. Partnering with KICK marks an important step in that journey, allowing us to experiment with new formats for fan engagement while creating additional opportunities to strengthen the tournament and the wider competitive ecosystem.”

Ethan Wright, Director of KICK, said: “India is home to some of the world’s most passionate and fastest-growing gaming communities. At KICK, we’re focused on giving those communities a platform that puts them first through a better viewing atmosphere, deeper creator engagement and a livestreaming experience that helps gaming thrive. Esports continues to bring millions of people together, and we’re excited to help more fans follow every match, celebrate every victory and support their favourite teams. We’re looking forward to partnering with NODWIN Gaming as the Official Streaming Partner for BGMS Season 5 and help bring one of India’s biggest esports tournaments to audiences around the world.”

The announcement comes at a time when India’s gaming ecosystem is entering a new phase of maturity. According to Naavik’s India State of Play 2026 report, India continues to generate nearly 8 billion game downloads annually while remaining one of the world’s most efficient markets for player acquisition, with average Cost Per Install (CPI) declining to approximately US$0.05 by the end of 2025.

The report also highlights a broader shift shaping the industry. While game downloads have largely stabilised, in-app purchase revenues have more than doubled over the past five years, signalling that India’s gaming market is increasingly being driven by engagement, community participation and long-term monetisation rather than user acquisition alone. As competitive gaming audiences continue to deepen their connection with esports, premium live content and tournament IPs are becoming increasingly valuable for platforms looking to engage highly invested gaming communities.

KICK is a fiercely creator-first platform, with streamers keeping 95% of subscription revenue. To date, creators have collectively earned over $228M USD through the KICK Partner Program alone. Globally, the platform has grown to over 100 million active users and surpassed 1.5 billion hours watched in Q2 2026. KICK is the number one streaming platform in areas such as the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America – while seeing strong growth across Europe, Australia and Asia.

BGMS Season 5 will run from August 10 to September 6, 2026, with all matches streaming exclusively on KICK. Fans can tune in daily, with the first match of the day beginning at 4:00 PM IST, while the final match is scheduled to start at 7:20 PM IST, ensuring an evening of uninterrupted BGMI action throughout the tournament. Further information regarding the complete broadcast schedule and viewing experience will be shared through NODWIN Gaming’s official channels.
