Through this commitment of ₹100 crore, the company hopes to lead the charge in changing the response to sophisticated, AI-driven, and international fraud networks that threaten to compromise the security of all in the digital ecosystem

Focus and key components of the Digital Suraksha Network

The DSN initiative includes several important components that can help in protecting users. The first important aspect of the DSN initiative is the 24/7 WhatsApp helpline, which will be free for every user and not only CoinDCX users. This helpline will help citizens verify and get to know about suspicious links, platforms, and offers before they get into any transactions.

CoinDCX is building an open Fraud Intelligence API to enable the sharing of real-time data related to fraudulent domains. CoinDCX has already documented over 1,200 fraudulent websites that pose as the brand. This data will be shared with banks, fintech sites, and other exchanges to develop a ‘shared immune system’ for the digital economy in the country.

Another important aspect is the empowerment of authorities and the public at large. For this, the Digital Suraksha Network will support the development of specialized training programs for state cybercrime cells. These programs will include blockchain forensics and digital asset tracing.

This will ensure that the authorities possess the required expertise to effectively address the current fraud cases. A nationwide awareness campaign named “Caution Before Transaction” will also be launched to ensure that every individual in the country possesses the required expertise to take part in the digital economy.
