BusinessNext raises $40 million from ServiceNow Ventures at a $700 million valuation to accelerate AI-powered CRM innovation and global business expansion.

SUMMARY

BusinessNext has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round. ServiceNow Ventures led the investment. After that deal, Reuters reported that ServiceNow acquired about a 5% stake in the company. The round raises BusinessNext’s valuation to $700 million, a massive jump in valuation of over 300%. This is a four-fold increase from the previous valuation of $181 million in 2021.

Capital allocation and expansion

The valuation increase is substantial and highlights the high demand for financial solutions powered by AI. BusinessNext is an AI-powered software solution aimed at traditional banks and financial institutions, founded by Nikhil Singh.

Fresh capital inflows underscore the sense that leading global cloud service providers are aggressively targeting strategic investments in niche financial technology startups that can support key operational processes. With the $40 million injection in fresh capital, BusinessNext will invest in several high-priority growth projects to enhance its technical expertise and geographic reach.

According to the company, the funds will be used to advance its independent banking platform and to speed up product development. One of its key initiatives will be strengthening its Private AI features, designed specifically for financial professionals who require stringent data privacy, security, and compliance standards.

The new funds will also be directed toward vigorously expanding the company’s footprint into Australia and New Zealand. In addition to the investment of capital, the strategic partnership with ServiceNow is expected to be a powerful enabler for international scaling. BusinessNext hopes the partnership will help expand its footprint in other markets in the Southeast Asian, Australian and New Zealand regions, adding to the wider reach of the enterprise platform.

The client portfolio consists of some of the largest banking and financial services companies. BusinessNext is competitive with fast-growth companies and enterprise software giants, including Salesforce, Zoho, Freshworks, HubSpot and LeadSquared in the rapidly evolving banking software segment.

The company’s capital raise follows strong revenue growth and stable underlying profitability. As per media reports, BusinessNext reported a net profit of ₹3.1 crore and total revenue of ₹312 crore for FY25, and the financials of FY26 were not established. The startup’s ability to stay profitable as it expanded its revenue also gave it a strong operational foundation from which it began raising its valuation to $700 million.

Conclusion

The $40 million Series B round at a $700 million valuation further cements BusinessNext’s niche in the banking software space. The company has witnessed a nearly fourfold increase in valuation since 2021. It highlights the growing commercial worth of Private AI and autonomous banking solutions.

The partnership with ServiceNow is shaping the company’s next steps on its international roadmap, extending its product innovation capability and driving its expansion into continents such as Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia through the company’s global network.
